We are booking employees of IT companies in Ukraine
How IT companies assess criticality and reserve a team. Three criteria, real timelines, practical tips.
A frequently asked question that comes to our team and deserves a separate answer. The explanation is below. Plus, those who make it to the end of the material (consciously or with the cursor) will be able to receive a very useful document on the topic.
The answer is revealed through a combination of simple criteria that your company must adhere to in order to be deemed critical for the functioning of the economy. Criticality paves the way for quick booking. We will only focus on those criteria that I, as the author of this material, have decided to highlight (a joke with practical significance). After all, we know which criteria are achievable for companies in the IT sector and which are not. Let's move on to the criteria:
The first criterion is the absence of debt for the payment of the Unified Social Contribution (USC). Will there be questions here? Generally, provided that the deadlines for settlements with the budget are met, this criterion will be easy to fulfill. Moreover, the necessary certificates can be obtained through the tools provided by the Electronic Cabinet of your enterprise.
The second criterion is that the average salary for the last calendar quarter is not less than the average salary in the region for the IV quarter of 2021 (according to the State Statistics Service data). It sounds complicated. However, you can handle this criterion as well. Let's assume your enterprise is registered in Kyiv. The average salary indicator for the capital for the specified period was 22,795 UAH. Therefore, if your company paid its employees at this level in the last quarter (even if you have one employee), then the criterion is met.
Finally, criterion No. 3 — your company is a resident of Diia.City. Practice shows that from the moment the application is submitted, it takes 3-4 working days for the order to acquire status to be signed, and you receive a call from the Ministry of Digital Transformation with congratulations and a reminder of the main rules of the regime.
So, the criteria are achievable. And when they are met, the process of recognizing your company as critically important should not exceed 15-20 working days. I remind you that criticality opens the door to convenient booking of employee lists through the Diia portal. The only thing you might encounter on the way to booking is bureaucratic adventures, which we have overcome and developed a transparent roadmap.
We know what format of documents needs to be used, what specific certificates should support the criteria, and how to properly optimize the composition of employees for booking. The useful document on the topic that I promised, with explanations of what it means to be a resident of Diia.City, can also be found by request in Telegram: @ceo_chat_mobilization.
